Lighthouse Ministry
Calvary is always seeking to engage in ministering and reaching out to our community. We believe that we are called to be Jesus in this world. One of the ways that we are doing this is by providing support, encouragement and nourishment to those in the Lighthouse Shelter. Below you will see a list of the dates we will be going to minister at the Lighthouse.
What is expected if you would like to help with Dinners?
Simply bring the dish that you sign up for (the dish will need to serve 30). Pray that God will use you to draw someone to Him! Meet at the Church at 6pm. Help with serving and clean up of the meal. And one of the most important things... Sit down, have a meal, and share some fellowship with those we are serving. We are looking to develop relationships and let them know that they are loved. First and foremost by God, but also by us, their Calvary Family!!!!
What is expected if you would like to help with Lunches?
Bring the item that you sign up for to Joan Stockett. (We need enough of each item to prepare 35 bag lunches) Pray for those who will be receiving the lunches that God would bless their day and that they would come to know Him or grow stronger in Him.
